How to Add DocVerify as Trusted Identity
Due to DocVerify's very high security standards and/or policies, document certificates and/or digital signatures have a high expiration frequency. New DocVerify certificates are created as soon as the older ones expire in order to protect the documents, and basically the warning does NOT mean the document is invalid, bad or corrupt. In order to make the message disappear for a particular document simply follow the steps below for Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
Click the signatures tab to view the signatures in the document.
Click to expand the DocVerify CA certificate
Click on certificate details
Once the certificate details window opens, click the trust tab.
Click the button "Add to Trusted Identities..."
If a warning pops up, click ok
Make sure "Use this certificate as trusted root" is checked
Click Ok, and then click OK again to close the windows
Now when you close the document, and open the DocVerify again or validate the signatures again you will see a green checkmark.
