Can I access my documents after uploading them or getting them signed? Absolutely. All DocVerify documents are accessible at any time to the parties who uploaded or signed them. You can also easily grant access to whomever you choose.
How do I know if my signers have signed the document?Simply log in to your DocVerify account and check the status of your document. You can see which of your recipients have accessed the document and who has yet to sign. Alternatively, DocVerify can notify you by email when your recipients have signed your documents.
How are signers notified to sign?Each signer will receive an unique link in their email with instructions on how to sign. In most cases, they will click on the link to review and sign the document quickly and easily; however, the sender can also add security to those links to protect them.
I received a DocVerify email. What should I do?Simply click the link in your email and follow the instructions. You will be allowed to view the document. After your thorough review, you can sign the document electronically with a simple click.
How do I sign my document?Once you access the document, simply click on the button that says "Sign This Document", You will be asked to type your name. When you click "Sign", the document is legally signed by you.
Do I need to register to sign?In most cases, no. However, some senders require their signers to register, in which case you will be required to register for a free DocVerify account. This helps to ensure your identity and protect against fraud.

Do I need to purchase any hardware or software?No. The platform has been designed to work from most devices with a browser and internet connection such as laptops, tablets, and even smartphones. No additional hardware or software is needed.
How do participants sign?The platform follows the strict e-signature laws, and it's also approved by the offices of the Secretary of States. Everyone will sign the documents using the devices they already own in most cases.
Are the documents counted per page or per uploaded document no matter how may pages?Each document uploaded is counted as one document. It can have as many pages as long as it does not exceed the maximum file size of the edition.
What plan do I need if I am the only notary using the services for just a few documents per month?The Professional edition has been designed for individuals with low volumes.
Do you offer a service where I can be charged per document notarized, with a flat fee for borrowers signing?No. We only offer subscription editions at this time.
How do I get started as a notary?To start, simply create a free account. After you create your free account and sign in, click on the "Notary Portal" button, out our notary application form. Once it's submitted, usually within 3 to 5 business days after we have verified your identity you will be able to easily e-notarize documents, and also use the e-journal system.
